About the Opportunity:
This is a true end-to-end HR role with exposure to everything from employee relations, compliance, and culture-building to supporting franchise partners and operational leaders. You will lead a small and capable HR Team that focus on L&D.
You’ll be the go-to person for HR across the group, helping to build scalable processes while navigating the challenges of a multi-jurisdiction workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a HR Team in Australia & off-shore
- Provide HR leadership across both Australian and US operations
- Manage ER matters, performance issues, and compliance requirements
- Lead HR policy and procedure design and implementation
- Support franchisees and managers with practical, timely advice
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
- Partner with third-party providers (payroll, legal, recruitment)
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles, ideally across Australia and the US
- Strong people manager, able to coach and develop HR team members
- Exposure to franchise or multi-site retail models
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law; US knowledge highly regarded
- Comfortable working across time zones and remote teams
- Hands-on, adaptable, and commercially minded
