I'm partnering with a highly regarded accounting and advisory firm that is looking to welcome an almost qualified Undergraduate or Graduate Accountant into its Business Services team. With a reputation for developing talented junior accountants, this is an excellent opportunity to build a strong technical foundation while working alongside experienced mentors.
From day one, you'll receive hands-on training, exposure to a broad client portfolio and ongoing support from senior accountants and Partners who are committed to helping you succeed.
The Opportunity
As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you'll gain experience across a range of accounting and taxation responsibilities, including:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Assisting with BAS, IAS and other compliance obligations
- Performing bookkeeping and account reconciliations
- Supporting senior accountants with client work and advisory projects
- Developing your technical knowledge across tax and business services
- Building confidence in communicating with clients and understanding their businesses
We're looking for someone who is motivated to build a long-term career in public practice. Ideally you'll have:
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline (or be currently completing one)
- Strong academic results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- A genuine interest in Business Services & Tax advisory
